Do you know this feeling: "Heimweh"? It is a perfect German expression for this little hole in your heart: you just cannot find your people, feel lonely and wonder why you did this and are dreaming of your home, wherever that is. Whether you have just moved to Germany or you have already been here for few months/years, the place still just doesn't feel like home... 

Luckily, we have all been there and understand it. 

The IWG is there for all international women since 1995. We extend a warm welcome to ladies looking for friendship, support, cultural exchange and activities encompassing the very best of what Germany has to offer. Run by members for over 20 years, we are an international club of English-speaking women who are spirited, well-travelled, and from diverse backgrounds and nationalities. As an officially-registerednon profit organisation (since 2002) the IWG asks for a symbolic fee of 20 euros as a support from its members and in returns offers lifelong friends, partners and memories.
