Willetta Carson & Band as well as star guest Troy Anderson want to bring their audience the joy of the popular culture of Swing, Dixy, and New Orleans Blues just like these two jazz giants. Louis "Satchmo" Armstrong was perhaps the most famous jazz trumpeter and singer ever to grace the world stage.  Ella Fitzgerald, the "First Lady of Song" was an American jazz vocalist known for her impeccable diction, phrasing and a "horn-like" improvisational ability. These two great artist teamed together to produce 3 best selling albums which were held as the pinnacle of popular singing.

Using music and mimic, scat and sketches and humor and charm Willetta Carson's and Troy Anderson's goal is to bring Louis and Ella back to life on stage again. With stylistic duets and solo performances they intend to capture both the personality and the musicality of these two great jazz legends and the imagination of their audiences. Featuring the music of the Gershwin brothers, Hoagy Carmichael and Cole porter among others with world renown classics such as "Cheek to Cheek" and "Dream a little Dream" as well as other famous favorites like "Mack the Knife," "Blue Berry Hill" and "It's a wonderful World".
